Job Description:

Must have experiences

• 3+ years of production-quality web development experience working with web applications and expert skills in Web 2.0, JavaScript , XHTML, CSS, Ajax and DOM manipulation
• Strong adherence to web standards and understanding of how to develop Javascript features.
• Understanding the challenges of creating a rich web application, Web 2.0 standards, and understanding the difference between a website and web applications.
• Familiarity with Ext-JS, JQuery, or other JavaScript library.
• Have intimate knowledge of CSS, especially of the various cross-browser quirks that exist in rendering. We develop for Safari, Firefox 2 and 3, IE7 and IE6.
• Pixel-perfectness when applying all of the above skills from Fireworks CS3 (or Photoshop, or similar) static mockups
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, highly-interactive and dynamic environment
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented with good organizational skills

Optional experiences

• A big plus: LAMP environment experience

Educational Requirements

• Computer Science or related Degree

Demonstrably impressive experience is a must. We’re ready to drop you in, so, besides the understandable integration/ramp-up period, we need you to be prepared for productive work out the gate. Involvement in and contributions to the Rails community would be highly regarded; references and coding samples are necessary.
