Protecting your privacy is our main goal. In order to achieve that goal, myGPSID will never solicit your date of birth, SSN and other private information. We collect the following information about you in order to better serve you with our offerings:
- Email address – we collect your email address, for purposes such as confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, resetting passwords, etc.
- First and last name.
- Address – we collect your addresses so that we can assign a unique address identifier (aka myGPSID).
- Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the myGPSID site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.

- We share your information with third parties under the following circumstances so that they could offer you location based services:
- We may share your complete address details third parties upon your express consent.
- Your approximate address location (Geo-approximation) will be shared with third parties, so that they could offer you Address Based Services.
- We don’t employ tracking devices for marketing purposes ( web beacons and single-pixel gifs).
- We use cookies to better serve you with our services.
- We don’t send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
- Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
- myGPSID does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13. If myGPSID learns that a registered person is under the age of 13, myGPSID will remove that user.
- The third party websites links within myGPSID may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.
- Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
- Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
Circumstances in which myGPSID may release information | Top
- myGPSID may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
